Alimonti Milano recycled marble strips are transformed into beauty
and become a collection of ultralight plates conceived by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez.

The project FOGLIE is displayed in a surprising and organic installation at Senato Hotel Milano during Milan Design Week.

The world-famous Italian marble manufacturer Alimonti Milano produces marble for architectural and interior design projects - and of course, develops new technologies in the treatment of materials.

The idea
Why not reuse it and create something new? Alimonti Milano's marble scraps inspired Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez to design a collection of ultralight plates in various shapes and sizes.

The collection 
The recycled marble strips are reborn and become everyday objects. The resulting patterns and colors are reminiscent of different leaf formations.
 
Waste from marble production is transformed into beauty!
